History
Established in 1900, The Beltonian Theater has experienced several incarnations including time as a church, an antique store and even a billiard hall. In the 1920s, locals and soldiers from nearby Camp Hood were the primary patrons of the theater. It remained a popular gathering place for entertainment through the 30s, 40s, 50s, and 1960s. The last major renovation of the theater took place in 2008. However, after just a short time, the theater closed.
